KBR to show new digital press, finishing equipment at Print World
KBR Graphics will present the latest in digital print technology, spot UV coating, and automated finishing solutions from Standard Horizon including saddle stitching, PUR perfect binding solutions and much more at Print World this year.
The company, which also represents press manufacturer KBA in Canada, will have a 1,600 sq. ft. booth at this year's show (a 60% increase from the adjacent KBR and KBA booths in 2008).
KBR will be highlighting these leading products:
- MGI JetVarnish from MGI, the first digital spot UV coater with a 20" x 29" sheet format that uses next-generation inkjet technology. The JETvarnish is perfect for short or long runs, and sets the standard for quality, flexibility and profitability in the graphics arts market.
- Standard Horizon BQ-470 PUR Perfect Binder fits a sweet spot in short-run professional-quality book production with full automation and touch-screen control. And the ability to swap-in a PUR glue tank lets the BQ-470 serve an even wider range of applications, including digital colour books.
- Standard Horizon StitchLiner bridges the production gap between existing flat sheet collating/bookletmaking systems and conventional high-volume saddlestitching lines. The StitchLiner eliminates signature folding as offset or digitally printed flat-sheet signatures are fed from the SpeedVAC collator to produce true saddlestitched booklets with full bleed trimming, at speeds up to 11,000 two-up booklets per hour.
MGI DP-60 from MGI, the most versatile digital press in the graphics industry with capabilities to accommodate a variety of substrates up to a maximum sheet size of 13'' X 47''. Make sure to visit KBR at booth 900 in the south hall of Print World.
