Sydney Stone is pleased to announce the Canadian launch of the New Duplo 745 slitter, cutter creaser at Print World 2010. Duplo invented this product category with the popular 615 and 645 machines and now the latest evolution, the Duplo DC 745, will be introduced by Duplo specialist Sydney Stone.

The new DC 745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser is Duplo’s most powerful all-in-one digital colour finishing solution. It's the next evolution and step up from the DC 645 model. The fully automatic DC 745 finishes an extensive range of professional quality, full bleed applications. With faster speeds, quick job changeovers, and a user-friendly PC controller, the DC 745 has new features which greatly enhance its versatility.

The new Duplo DC 745 now includes up to 10 slits, 20 cuts and 15 creases in one pass. Faster processing speed of up to 50 sheets per minute and new strike and micro perforation options make this machine the perfect solution for mid to large size digital printers with increased production volumes.
 
Also being shown for the first time in Canada will be the fully automatic DKT 200 Two Knife Trimmer. This is an optional unit designed to trim the head and the foot of booklets when configured in line with the DBM 500T Bookletmaker and Face Trimmer, producing high quality, full bleed books in one system.


The DKT-200 can process up to 4,500 books per hour and up to 9,000 books per hour when processing two-up applications using the optional gutter cutter. Full-bleed jobs can now be conveniently transferred directly from the press to the bookletmaking system without the need to trim the sheets on a  guillotine cutter before or after stitching and folding.
